At CerebralFix, we believe that great things happen when creative minds come together. That's why, in June 2024, we hosted our annual Hack Week event, our own studio-wide game jam that is all about collaboration, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in game development. 

​​We’re a bunch of game developers who genuinely love what we do. Games aren't just our job—they’re what gets us excited every day. Hosting Hack Week every year is our way of creating a space where we can all just let loose, have fun, and see what happens when you remove the usual constraints. No pressure, no rules—just pure creativity. And that’s exactly what we saw: people trying out intensely creative ideas and loving every minute of it.

People are our biggest asset. Hack Week is our chance to bring together our talented creatives who are as passionate about making games as they are about working together. We love seeing people with different backgrounds and skills come together to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and support each other. There were so many moments where you could just feel the energy in the room—people brainstorming, laughing, and building something really cool together.

At the heart of this week was the value of community. Throughout the week, we get to see people cheering each other on, solving problems together, sharing their progress, and celebrating each other’s successes. That sense of community and support is what we love about the game development world, and Hack Week is always a reminder of how special that is.

We’re already thinking about what’s next, how we can keep this momentum going, and how we can continue to support the creativity and innovation that drives us.
