CerebralFix is Rainbow Tick Certified

CerebralFix is proud to have achieved Rainbow Tick certification in 2024 as a part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe and inclusive workplace for our Rainbow community members. 

Achieving Rainbow Tick accreditation was important to us, as it underscores our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.

Pride Pals:

The formation of Pride Pals was to ensure we had the voice of the studio and the LGBTTQIA+ community as we embarked on our journey of greater commitment to our inclusivity value. The goal of achieving the Rainbow Tick allowed us a framework to work towards but was secondary to the goal of achieving greater awareness and support for those in our LGBTTQIA+ community.  

Diversity & Inclusion at CererbalFix:

CerebralFix is committed to its inclusivity value, where equity, diversity and inclusion provides all employees with the opportunity for employment, career and personal development on the basis of ability, qualifications and suitability for the work as well as their potential to be developed into the role. We put inclusivity first, is our first and foremost value, and is placed there very intentionally.

We believe that people from diverse backgrounds can bring fresh ideas, thinking and approaches which makes the way work is undertaken, more effective and efficient.

CerebralFix actively supports our LGBTTQIA+ community through our policies and actions. Our priority is to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone. 

As a Studio we will not tolerate direct or indirect discrimination and/or harassment against any person on grounds of age, disability, gender identity, gender expression, marriage / civil partnership, pregnancy / maternity / paternity / surrogacy, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexuality whether in the field of recruitment, terms and conditions of employment, daily interactions, career progression, training, transfer or dismissal.

It is also the responsibility of all employees in their daily actions, decisions and behaviour to endeavour to promote these concepts, to comply with all relevant legislation and to ensure that they do not harass or discriminate against colleagues, customers, suppliers or any other person associated with CerebralFix.

What have we changed?

We created a support system for our community through the formation of our Pride Pals group, that met monthly initially and now quarterly. We updated and put in place new policies to support our LGBTTQIA+ community, including:

> Parental Leave 
> Diversity Recruitment Policy
> Trans, NonBinary & Transitioning in the Workplace Policy

It's important not just to acnknowledge our Rainbow community, but to support them as well - so we celebrate multiple days of significance, attend events, decorate our offices and host regular LGBTTQIA+ gaming days to bring everyone together.

We've also made learning a critical part of our studio culture and have held regular training sessions for current and new staff around areas such as Rainbow 101, Active Allyship, Pronoun Use and Foundations of LGBTTQIA+.

You may even notice our very own Pride Ceeb (logo), who is features on printed t-shirts and pins for our staff to wear at events and conferences. 

By achieving Rainbow Tick accreditation, we reaffirm our dedication to a workplace that celebrates diversity, drives creativity, and empowers all team members to thrive.
